Mr. William Hay, MLA, Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly will visit Leinster House at the invitation of An Ceann Comhairle, Mr. John O’Donoghue, TD and Cumann Parlaiminteach na hÉireann (Irish Parliamentary Association) on Wednesday, 10 October 2007.

Speaker Hay will be met by the Ceann Comhairle in the Garden Room of Leinster House at 1.30 pm where he will be invited to sign the official visitor’s book. This will be followed immediately by a photo call outside on the plinth.

Speaking in advance of the visit the Ceann Comhairle, Mr. John O’Donoghue T.D., expressed his delight at welcoming Speaker Hay to Leinster House. “This visit is another significant milestone in the ongoing development of positive relations and closer ties between our legislatures," he added.
